ArticleMarketer.com has Retired

I’m not going to give you my words, since of my employees did such a good job of informing me of such changes this morning, I’m going to simply re post his email.

Scott,

Not sure if you saw this yet but today (10/13) www.articlemarketer.com was retired. The article distribution services have been taken up by two new companies – www.distributeyourarticles.com and www.contentcrooner.com.   Our service has moved over to contentcrooner. The interface is exactly the same as AM. However, the process of submitting articles is much faster. I just submitted 14 in an hour and am sure I could do this number pretty consistently – the pages load much faster. Except for the author account page which takes almost a full 3-4 minutes to load up – which really sucks because this is where you have to go each time to correct articles. Another plus is that contentcrooner allows for pen names.

On a related note, Traffic Geyser has just rolled out their article distribution service. Unfortunately, it was built specifically for TG’s transcription services -they take your video and submit the transcription (which they do for a fee) to article sites. I have been testing it with existing, text-only content like we are doing and only a handful of the 30 or so sites in TG get submitted to correctly. It seems like they have a lot of bugs to work out.

Mike Lawson @ 12:27 pm

Hey Scott,

Glad to see word is getting around cyberland.

I worked for AM for the last 2 years or so as a freelance writer/editor and also managed their blogs on contract.

My company has since moved over and contracted with Content Crooner to do pretty much the same functions there and even a couple of new ones. We’re proud to be there to continue our service to the article marketing community.

The Content Crooner Tech Guys have been hard at it the last 4 days ironing out any wrinkles in the system (like the slow loading author’s page referenced above) and are making headway. It’s expected to have a few bugs to squash with any new site launch and CC is no different. Bear with them.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the mention here on behalf of Ken Vogt and the Content Crooner Team.

Regards,

Mike Lawson

Mike,

thanks for stoping by and saying a few words. We have a few AM accounts and have been very happy with the service. We’ve used other systems, such as iSnare, in the past and loved AM. We’re disappointed in transition, however will soon be satisfied once, and if, the service is at least status quo to what it was.

We understand you guys must be crazy with the transition. I don’t understand why or how you delegate which AM accounts go to which company. It appears Content Crooner is up and the other solutions isn’t working. As you can tell, my employee is satisfied with CC.

Within the next two weeks we’ll know whether we want to be an affiliate of CC or not, but so far the results appear it’s a product we want to use and support.

Good deal, Scott. Welcome aboard and we hope we win your support as an affiliate as well. See you around the cyberverse.

I just logged into my account and saw that I was redirected to content crooner. Since I started using the service because of Scott’s recommendations in his book I figured there would be some information here. Good to see your staying on top of things.

Thanks for that observation David.

We’re trying and you should now start spending more time at the blog at http://www.localmarketingsource.com. That company have many more resources than this blog, however I try to cover the most relevant stuff.
